Prime Minister, Boris Johnson announced on Monday (4th January 2021) a new national lockdown for England until at least mid-February to combat a fast-spreading new variant of the coronavirus in order to save lives and protect our NHS.
The most recent Government guidance has made it clear that construction and manufacturing work should continue throughout the UK and sites are to remain open as construction “is essential to keeping the country operating”. We are therefore pleased to confirm our manufacturing and testing facilities remain fully operational once again, and it’s back to business at Lorient for 2021!
It is important to note that throughout 2020; we implemented many changes to our production facility and working practices to meet the Government’s ‘COVID-19 Secure’ guidelines; and we maintain these rigorous controls to this day.
