The Independent Review made reference to a recommended 'Golden Thread' that ensures a connection from design, through construction and ultimately to the accountable person for the building that is occupied. This requires the transfer of easy to understand, accurate and up to date digital information relating to the building in order to ensure its ongoing safety.
At Lorient we believe fire safety products should demonstrate their compliance through recognised third party accreditation, an approach now actively promoted by the UK government following the publication of the Independent Review of Building Regulations and Fire Safety.
