Sealing Systems & Sustainability
Fire & smoke containment – in the event of a fire, our high-performance sealing systems for door assemblies prevent the spread of fire, smoke and toxic gases in a building. Protecting people, buildings and the environment as a whole from the devastating effects of fire and smoke. This means that less structural damage occurs, resulting in fewer materials needing to be replaced.
Energy containment – many of our products also offer thermal and energy containment properties in a building’s everyday use. By minimising heat loss, they contribute to overall energy efficiency of a building, helping to reduce energy usage.
Multifunctional – one solution will contribute to acoustic, smoke and fire containment and accessibility, offering efficiency in use. Fewer products are installed; therefore, fewer materials are used in the building.
Durability – a key aspect of manufacturing a sustainable product is reflected in third-party certification schemes, such as BBA and CERTIFIRE. Ensuring the products are fit-for-purpose and will stand the test of time. So, provided they are installed and used correctly, we know our seals will last – which means less need to replace them, and less wastage of materials, reducing the overall environmental impact associated with our products.
